Previously, he was Director of Global Fixed Income at Franklin Templeton Investments. In this capacity he directed all global macroeconomic and fixed income research and Investments. He also served as member of Franklin Templeton’s Global Economic Committee and was responsible for global macroeconomic analysis, with a focus on currencies, interest rates and sovereign credit analysis. Flagship funds managed by Mr. Calvo included Templeton Global Total Return Fund.
