She joins the firm's European Value portfolio management team, effective September 2018. Florence started at MFS as a research analyst in August 1999. During her tenure, her analyst coverage spanned a number of key European sectors, including financials, consumer staples, technology hardware, media and utilities. She also held senior research positions as the consumer cyclicals sector team leader for five years and as portfolio manager for the firm's Global Infrastructure strategy beginning in May 2017. Before joining MFS, Florence spent three years at Renaissance Solutions, Inc., a global information technology and management consulting firm, where she served as senior consultant. She also participated in MFS' summer MBA internship program in 1998. Florence earned a master's degree in international management from the University of Ottawa and Reims Management School in France in 1993 and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School in 1999. | ||
